It’s been a while, but this is my first offering from the Karijini Workshop I went to recently. I like the deep blue reflections in the pool of water. I hope this is the first on many posts…

Not too bad there Matt!
I reckon it would probably work as a square crop with the tree off to the left hand third of the shot as well.
Thanks Mark, good call! That would balance the image better and highlight the reflections in the water. I’ll give that a whirl!
Ahhh … first of a few I hope.
Hey Matt im a fan of the blue reflections as well but im with Mark and would go the square crop just so its not too busy. Look forward to seeing more.
Welcome to the blog, Darren. Thanks for the comments guys, I’m going to try it as a cropped square. The more I look at it, the more it seems to make sense (get rid of the clutter on the left). I’ve got some tree images I’m working on, stay tuned!
You sure captured some nice blues there matt! I’ve been checking for posts as well – bout time mate! Hope we dont have to wait as long for number 2
Great! (About time!!)
I like the 3 forked tree, can’t wait to see the new crop.
Thanks, good people, the new crop is on it’s way but isn’t quite square. See what you think, but it was cropped as per instructions from Betters’ Peter Eastway! I quite like, what will you think?
Just want to say what a great blog you got here!
I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!
Thumbs up, and keep it going!
Cheers
